Jazzateria services include negotiating contracts, setting up publishing deals, tour routing, booking arrangements, interacting between clients in A&R, publishing, production, radio, print, media, and motion pictures. In addition, Jazzateria services provide for the long-term interests of our artist by offering an array of services, which include money management, financial planning, and healthcare systems to benefit and enhance an artist's career.

Founder and President, Preston Powell II, grandson of Harlem Congressman, Adam Clayton Powell Jr., has had his finger on the musical pulse for a long time. A thirty two year veteran of the music industry, he began his career making eight-track tapes for friends and deacons at his community church. Preston landed his first professional radio gig on Yale University's WYBC FM, as an overnight Funk & Disco disc jockey.
As a club DJ, Preston helped define the Disco era in the 70's and was a TOP DJ at Magique, Electric Circus, Levitcus, Pippin's, Club A, Xenon & routine guest spots at famed Studio 54. He went on to work for Inner City's WBLS under Frankie Crocker and Riverside Broadcasting's WRVR FM in New York City. He was the founder, owner, and talent-buyer of Bay Street nightclub in the Hamptons, Sag Harbor, NY. He was also creative director and song-plugger for "House of Fun" and "Lost in Music Publishing," for JellyBean Benitez, Jelly Bean Entertainment and as instructor, taught the course "Intro to Artist Management" at Baruch College in New York City.
Currently, Powell oversees the management, booking and business needs of St. Croix reggae group Midnite.
